About ME
MY EXPERIENCE
I have been working in the mental health field since 2013, and am incredibly proud to collaborate with people in need of emotional support. Over the last 10 years, there has been significant progress made in the manner of which mental health services are provided, and I enjoy learning how to provide better care every day.
It is important to listen to those who are hurting, and help them access healing through resources and skill building. As a white-passing, cis-gendered, able bodied woman with thin privilege, I do not assume to know the experiences of those living in marginalized bodies.
I have experience working with neurodivergent and disabled persons, marginalized and at-risk youth, and families in transition. I have worked with persons in crisis and clients admitted to treatment facilities at all levels of care. I am clinically trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based therapy, as well as dialectical behavioral therapy.
I graduated from UC Davis with degrees in Communications and Psychology, and later earned my Masters of Arts degree in Couple & Family Therapy from Alliant International University in 2016. I became fully licensed as a Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT #116941) in 2019, and completed the UC Berkeley Professional Certification in Eating and Weight Disorders in 2020.
